Research Project: Whole-genome sequencing and bioinformatics analyzes of Pseudomonas gessardii strains causing mortality in fry of Black Sea trout (Salmo coruhensis)
Rumeysa Kök’s research project was supported by the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program 2021/1. Rumeysa also contributes to the project “Whole-genome sequencing and bioinformatics analysis of bacterial disease agents in hazelnut” supported by the TUBITAK 1002 Rapid Support Program as a scholarship student. As part of Erasmus+ Internship Mobility between June 1 – September 1, 2021, she conducted a study with Dr. Slawomir Orzechowski entitled “Carbohydrate metabolism in potato leaves under drought stress conditions” at Warsaw University of Life Sciences Institute of Biochemistry and Microbiology in Poland. She is the vice president of Ordu University Genetics Club.
